The next meeting of the Parish Council will be Wednesday 6th July 2016 at 7:30pm in the Village Hall, Mitford.

The meeting on the 1st June 2016 was cancelled and rescheduled for the date above.

There are two upcoming events for those in and around Mitford over the next week.

1. An invitiation to Tea on the Village Green on Saturday 11th June at 3pm to celebrate Her Majesty the Queen's 90th Birthday.  If the weather is wet or cold please go to the Village Hall instead.
2. The Mitford Historical Society Meeting will take place on Tuesday 14th June at 7 pm.  Speaker Mr K. Hutchinson will talk on SEATON DELAVEL HALL, The Good, the Bad and the Beauty at approximately 7.30 pm.  Tea/Coffee and biscuits afterwards.

Last night, at Mitford parish Council’s Annual Meeting, we made local residents Billy and Pat Elliott Honourary Freeman of the Parish of Mitford. This was in recognition of their longstanding and significant contributions to both the Council and parish over many, many years. They are soon moving away from the area for their well-earned retirement.
