The Annual Mitford Village Fair will take place from 2pm on Saturday 1st July on the village green. Come along and enjoy the various stalls, attractions, games and refreshments – followed by fantastic evening entertainment.   Hope to see you there.

A window has been found cracked at the rear of the Village Hall near the children's playground, opposite the gable end of No 23 Fontside.  It would appear that this has been caused by either an air gun pellet or a pellet from a shotgun cartridge.  As the children play round the back of the Hall as well as in the playground, the Village Hall Chairman suggests that parents are made aware of this incident for safety reasons.  No one has yet informed any member of the Village Hall committee of this incident or claimed responsibility, therefore the Village Hall will now need to bear the cost of the repair.

7.30pm on Wednesday 17th May at the Village Hall, Mitford.  The AGM will be followed by the election of the Chairman and Vice-Chairman for the Parish Council.
